Community Guidelines

Stellart lets signed-in visitors offer guide notes, stories, and corrections about the artists in the museum. These contributions should make the museum more accurate, thoughtful, and welcoming. Every submission is held for curator review before it can appear publicly.
What belongs here
- a useful detail about an artist or a work in Stellart's verified collection;
- a relevant historical story written in your own words;
- a specific correction with enough context for a curator to verify it; or
- a respectful interpretation that is clearly presented as interpretation.
What is not allowed
- harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or dehumanizing content;
- sexual exploitation, graphic abuse, encouragement of violence, or self-harm content;
- personal or confidential information about another person;
- impersonation, fraud, deliberately misleading claims, or fabricated sources;
- spam, repeated submissions, advertising, fundraising, or unrelated links;
- instructions for illegal or dangerous activity;
- text copied from a book, website, another visitor, or any source you cannot reuse; or
- malware, code, attempts to bypass moderation, or abuse of reporting tools.
Write it yourself
Submit only text you wrote or have permission to share. Keep quotations short, necessary, and attributed. By submitting a contribution, you give Stellart permission to store it, review it, edit it for clarity and safety, and display it in the museum. You keep ownership of your original writing.
Moderation and enforcement
Submission does not guarantee publication. A curator may decline, edit, unpublish, or remove a contribution that is inaccurate, unsafe, off-topic, duplicative, legally risky, or inconsistent with these guidelines. Repeated or serious violations may restrict or end a person's ability to contribute or use an account.
Historical art can involve nudity, violence, religion, discrimination, and other difficult subjects. Discussing those subjects for genuine educational context is allowed. Using that context to target people, sensationalize harm, or evade these rules is not.
Report, block, or request removal
In the iOS release, approved contributions will include Report and Block controls before community content is enabled. If those controls are not available in your current build, email stellart.dev@gmail.com with Community safety in the subject. Identify the contribution and explain the concern. You may also use that address to request removal of your own contribution or appeal a moderation decision.
Privacy
Approved contributions can appear with the contributor's chosen public display name. Do not include an email address, exact location, account information, or another person's private information in a contribution. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
